The Word of God

Thy Word O Lord, have i hidden in my mine heart, that i might not sin against thee.
(Psalm 119:11)

David said, thy word O Lord have i hidden in my mine heart, that i might not sin against thee. I was meditating on this verse and i came to understand that hiding the word of God in your heart breaks the power of sin.
David came to understand that, he would be able to stand against the power of sin if he hides the word of God in his heart.

This is because, the Word of God is of Spirit and of life.( It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life John 6:63). By the Spirit of God, you will be able to over every challenges in every dimension of your life and gives you strength to live according to the will of God.

I came to understand that the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow....(Heb 4:12. When the word of God is hidden in your heart, every life,every attitude, every lust, every evil desire, every evil thought, harden heart, every bad habit which is not of God, that you find difficult to overcome will be overcome in Jesus name by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

I came to understand that the word of God is God himself. The bible says In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (John 1:14)
So as you hide the word of God in your heart, it is God himself there in your heart. And He take charge over every dimension of your life.

In the presence of God, everything that doesn't subject to the obedience of Christ bows in Jesus name.

Prayer
Lord, i pray thee you grant me strength and might to be able to hide your word in my heart and mediate upon it day and night that might not sin against you but walk according to your will for my life in Jesus name.
