If God has a perfect purpose for you, a perfect life of love for you, but you refuse to surrender all to Him, or turn away from Him, and do not think of Him in Disobediance, God will not suffer you to inherit His promises and purpose for your life, because you don't want to conform to the image of Christ.
Josh 1:11- You will be crossing the Jordan to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you to inherit
Num 14:30- I swear that none of you will enter the land I promised to settle you in, except Caleb son of Jephuneh, and Joshua son of Nun.
You see, the Isralites disobeyed God and sinned angainst Him, after all He had done for them, and where he was leading them to, to be in His loving care, and they decided to turn away from Hm, and worship other gods amde of gold. The Lords anger burned against them. The only ones who followed Him all the way with their hearts was the two sons Calleb and Joshua. They lived, but all the rest died in the wilderness, and did not inherit the promise land.
Our nheritance, is the love, presence, and complete wholeness of God, our Lord Jesus, the fellowhip of the Holy Spirit. When you are saved, do not think or believe what others tell you, that "you can't lose your salvation", becaus it is a lie, if you are saved, but you carry on in ignorance all your sinful ways, and ignore the concience and teaching of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will leave you. But if you are faithful, and even though you make mistakes, your heart groans because of it, and you keep repenting and keep conforming to the image of Christ by the Holy Ghost, your salvation is priceless.
Prayer
Father God, restore the joy of your salvation in us, and let us not stray away, or indulge in any sinfull lusts Keep us on the path of righteousness, lead us O great Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.
