Christ the New and Eternal Great High Priest

Hebrews 4:15(NKJV) For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

As you have seen, there is a New Testament, a better hope, and everlasting High Priest whom is also our Redeemer, our sin offering, and our Life.

The Old testament Law could not save us, it could only sanctify us by the offering of an lamb, an unblemished 1 year old lamb, only until we then sin again. The priest could only go in once a year, but nothing would be permanent. There was no everlasting sanctification, and the end result was always going to be wrath.

So God has given us a better hope, a New High Priest, that dose not go in year after year to offer a slain offerng, and comes out and we all sin again, with no hope, but our better hope is Jesus Christ, who went in just once, Holy and unblemished, without fault, and offered up Himself. Whereby there is no need for anymore offerng, as we now live by the everlasting grace given to us by Jesus Christ the Son of God. Slain for Us, and now has become the New High Priest forever, not guieding us under the law, but under His Holy Spirit in Righteousness.

Hebrews 5:5-6 (NKJV) So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You." 6 As He also says in another place: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek"

A compassionate High Priest who was tested in the flesh, and overcame, it is then also possible for us to overcome all sin, presenting our bodie as Holy Temples unto the Lord, for this is our Spiritual worship.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.
Roman 12:1

In Jesus name. Amen
